Kioxia was highly evaluated for various reasons including: recognition of its invention of NAND flash memory in 1987, over three decades of industry-leading research and development and the company’s efforts to protect and commercialize its intellectual property, including 3D flash memory and other patented technologies on memory storage.

The Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovators™ 2022 Awards were presented to the world’s most innovative companies and organizations, based on Clarivate’s proprietary analysis of intellectual property and patent trends.
